I started writing letters

Essay film, 13'25'', 2015

In 2011 I had the opportunity to travel to a Palestinian refugee camp in Jordan for my master's thesis. In 2014 I was still thinking about it. In contact by skype and facebook with the Palestinians, I decided to write letters to different people involved to reflect and criticize. I published the letters, but still felt not everything was said.

This essay film is a kind of reading of the letters with images pointing on the doubts and hesitations that were part of this project: the project of travelling and trying to understand a culture, the project of making a master's thesis in architecture, the project of writing letters ... to finally get an answer by the refugees.
